Boka Kotorska

Leaving Dubrovnik, we are passing through the Konavle plain, the most fertile part of Dubrovnik area. Within forty-five minutes, we will arrive to the neighboring country Montenegro and drive along the winding road through the Bay of Kotor, situated on the Adriatic coast and sometimes called the southern fjord of Europe. Passing through the towns Herceg Novi, Peras, Risan, we will arrive to the town of Kotor, famous for its old town, criss-crossed buildings, narrow streets and squares and city walls. The Cathedral of St. Tripun, a monument of Roman culture, the church of St. Luke, the Prince's Palace and the Napoleon Theatre are well known treasures and an important part of rich Kotor’s cultural heritage. The return drive to Dubrovnik will be shortened by ferry ride from Tivat across the bay to Herceg Novi.
